Tiny Trotters and Mommy & Me!

Welcome to our under-six classes! Join us in this unique and fun activity- There's nothing like being outdoors, spending time with animals, getting a little dirty, and bonding with your family.

Here is what we offer for our littlest students and their families...

Mommy & Me(Daddies welcome too!) Series

We offer a 4 week series each month for families to experience horses hands on in a safe, fun environment with our excellent expert staff and amazing, trusty, patient lesson horses! Each class is one hour, though please allow an hour and 15 minutes. There will be no riding in the first week, and about 30 minutes of riding for children only, in weeks 3 and 4, each. Sign up before the month starts to experience all 4 weeks of this awesome series!

Full Series Schedule

- Week 1: Introduction and orientation time! Take stable tour, meet our horses, learn the basics and safety of being around these big animals, basic care, and hands on interaction!

- Week 2: Introduction to horse body language, and ground work with horses! Learn to be safe around the horses we have out, learn to lead (as a parent/child team), and learn to groom! Depending on progress some kiddos will ride.

- Week 3: Groom your horse before more hands on learning about tack(the saddle and bridle), and getting to RIDE!

- Week 4: Put everything together! Lead, groom, tack up, and more riding!

- For riding, students must be at least 2 years old.

- If you'd like to bring a younger child, they can participate in the first 2 weeks!

- To sign up, there must be a 1:1 parent/child ratio. A second parent with the one child is welcome at no extra charge!

- Maximum 6 teams per full series - up to 12 teams for weeks 1 and 2 only. (parent/child teams)

- This is a course that can be taken multiple times!

Mini Series (4 weeks): $200

Full Series (6 weeks): $300

First 2 weeks only: $75

Single class: $40

Tiny Trotters Private/Semi-Private (ages 2+)

Spend a special hour together, off the couch and away from the screens! These lessons will be 45 minutes of time with your own lesson horse, leading, grooming, and riding. Students will learn at their own pace and the focus is on safety and FUN!

- Scheduled individually

- To sign up, there must be a 1:1 parent/child ratio. A second parent with the one child is welcome at no extra charge!

- 1 to 2 students per class only

- For riders 2 to 4, parents must be involved on lesson(but will not ride if they don't want too). Students 4-5 who demonstrate strong motor skills and good focusing skills will begin to learn to do more unassisted by parents, but parents must be present for entire lesson

- Anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes will be spent in the saddle, depending on each individual student

- Parents do not always ride

*It is best if students participate in at least one 4 week session of our Mommy & Me Course before moving on to Tiny Trotters.
