We cater to children from age 3 to adults. Our program offers private and group lessons that focus on building competent riders in a safe and fun atmosphere. We know the importance of a healthy environment to learn and love working with families. Having a wholesome family atmosphere at the farm is something we value along with responsibility, respect, and honesty. Please contact us to take a tour, have questions answered, or schedule an introductory riding lesson.

The lesson program at Allegro Equestrian was established in 2018. Since then, Rachael has carefully crafted a safe environment and teaching practices to promote effective, confident riders who learn proper horsemanship. In order to evaluate a prospective student’s skill level and potential, we begin with an evaluation lesson. This private, one-on-one assessment allows the instructor to establish a relationship with the student, determine their current level, and customize a plan for their future growth and progression.

REGULAR WEEKLY LESSONS
$180/MONTH ($45/LESSON)

LESSON PREPARATION
We ask that you arrive ~30 minutes before your lesson to get your horse ready, and that you are prepared to stay ~30 minutes after the lesson to put your horse away. We believe in teaching horsemanship in every area from the ground up. All students are taught how to groom and tack up their horse and how to properly care for their mount and tack after their lesson.

LESSON CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE UPS
We offer "built in" make up lessons several times per year, occurring in the months where there is a 5th lesson on the rider's designated lesson day. These free lessons are offered to serve as make ups for whenever a student must miss due to holiday, illness, vacation, etc. We are not able to offer make up lessons outside of this policy.

The Allegro Equestrian Show Team is for both adults and juvenile riders. Members of the Allegro Equestrian Show Team do not need to own their own horse and can ride Allegro Equestrian lesson horses at local, state wide and out of state competitions.

The Allegro Equestrian Show team exposes Leadline riders, Beginner riders and up to advanced riders  to horse show competitions. This allows riders to gain experience in the show ring.

Show Team Members are required to ride at least once a week.

Participation is horse shows is determined strictly by ability, and not by age. There are class for children that involve just walking; walking, trotting, and cantering; and also classes that require jumping, as low as ground poles or small 18-inch cross rails to much larger rated FEI level heights. While many students start showing when they are still quite young, many others start as teenagers or even adults.

We also attend some western and fun playday shows!

If you are interested in joining our show team please contact us for more information.
